A bomb has been detonated on Aba road in Sabon Gari road, Kano leaving scores dead and others injured.
According to BBC, Nafiu Nuhu, president of Sabon Gari Market, the bomb explosion affected schoolchildren in the area.
Other sources claimed the explosion was a suicide bomber attack.
Peoples Gazette could not independently verify the incident and the exact number of casualties.
