FG appoints provost, governing council, for FCE-Iwo

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA

The federal government has appointed a Professor of Islamic Studies, Rafiu Adebayo, as the Provost of the newly-established Federal College of Education, Iwo, in Osun state.

Adebayo is the Deputy Chief Imam of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN).

Alhaji Liadi Tella, a former Lecturer with the Department of Mass Communication and Senior Research Fellow, was appointed Chairman of the Governing Council.

This was announced by the institution’s bulletin.
