Authorities of the Federal College of Education, Pankshin (FCE Pankshin) has announced a temporary closure of the institution. At an Emergency meeting of management held on Friday 23rd, October 2020 the following were approved;
I) Temporary closure of the college with effect from Wednesday 28th October to Tuesday 3rd November,2020 this is to enable the decontamination (fumigation) of all offices, classroom, lecture halls students hostel among others in readiness for the reopening of the college please note that normal work activities resume on Wednesday 4th November, 2020.

ii) All staff with keys to the office/halls listed in (i) above are expected to report and open their offices for the exercise the itinerary on how the exercise would be carried will be communicated for guidance and compliance of all concerned to ensure that all areas of the college are covered without exception
iii) Management would continue to monitor the present security situation in the country to ensure the safety of both staff and students before a tentative date for the reopening of the college including details of the categories of students to resume in phase is communicated for compliance
iv) Both staff and students would be expected and encouraged to strictly observe the regulation of the National Center for Diseases Control (NCDC) at Covid 19 pandemic
